10 Reasons to Play Rugby
1.
Keeping fit by running around with a ball is much more fun than
going to the gym. Your mind is on the drill as opposed to how far
you've got left to run according to the LCD display in the treadmill.
It's probably a lot cheaper than the gym too and you get fresh air.
2. Playing rugby is fun and the adrenaline rush you get in a game
situation is awesome.
3. One hour of rugby burns roughly 530 calories per hour (stats
based on a short hooker weighing 53kg!!!!!!!)
4. You will meet people and make new friends
5. Getting muddy!
6. Being part of a team looks good on your CV!
7. You learn totally new skills and it improves your confidence.
8. Rugby is suitable for everybody of any shape, size or fitness
level but it will improve your fitness levels when you get into
it.
9. It's funny to be able to tell people you meet that you play rugby!!!
10. Last but not least, the camaraderie - great nights out!
